Terms of service
These terms cover the work we do for clients and the use of this website. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here does not match what we agreed with you in writing, what we agreed with you wins.
Who we are
Local SEO Things is a marketing services business based in Surat, Gujarat, India, working with businesses in the United States. Contact: contact@localseothings.com.
What you are buying
Monthly plans and one-time services as described on the pricing page. Each plan covers one business location unless we agree otherwise in writing. The free audit is exactly that: a written report, with no obligation on either side.
Payment
Monthly plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, by card or PayPal. One-time services are billed on acceptance of the quote. Invoices are due on receipt. Work may pause on an account that is more than 14 days overdue.
Cancellation
There is no contract term and no notice period. Tell us to stop and we stop at the end of the paid month; there is no refund of the current month, and no charge after it. Work already done stays on your profile and website.
What we need from you
Manager access to your Google Business Profile (we never ask for your Google password), the ability to publish or approve changes on your website when the plan includes pages, and factual answers about your business, services and areas. Everything we publish about you is what you tell us; we do not invent claims, offers or credentials.
What we promise, and what we do not
We promise the work described in your plan, done every month, reported with Google's own figures, and a reply within one business day on US hours.
We do not promise rankings. No one controls Google's results, and anybody who guarantees a position is either guessing or lying. What we control is the profile, the website and the citations; what Google does with them is Google's decision, influenced by your competitors, your reviews and factors outside anyone's reach.
We do not use tactics that break Google's guidelines: no fake reviews, no fake locations, no keyword-stuffed business names, no listings for addresses you do not occupy. If you ask for those, we will decline and, if you insist, end the engagement. This protects your profile more than it protects us.
Suspensions and reinstatement
A reinstatement fee buys the work of diagnosing the cause, correcting it and filing the request properly. Google decides the outcome. If a first request is refused for a reason we can address, we follow up at no extra charge; we cannot refund Google's decision.
Who owns what
Your Google Business Profile, your website, your accounts and your content remain yours throughout and after. Reports, audits and page drafts we produce for you are yours once paid for. The methods, checklists and templates behind them remain ours.
We may refer to you as a client and show your public Google results, unless you tell us not to. We ask before publishing anything that is not already public.
Confidentiality
We keep your account data, figures and internal information confidential, and we do not share them with your competitors. If we work with another business in your trade and city, we tell you before we start.
Liability
Our liability for any claim connected with the work is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profit, lost rankings, or consequences of decisions Google or any other platform makes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Surat, Gujarat have jurisdiction. This does not remove any right you have as a consumer or business under the laws of your own state.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and current clients are told by email before the change applies to them.
